It's very annoying.
I've been trying to put together a GMTO for the EB "Hunt" design for months and months and have been told they only do the new "split toe" stitch technique for their "Dover" model.
As of now, I already have a 6 person strong, all SG group put together.
And yet again, I'm denied.
By the way, the new "reverse split toe" stitch technique that is the main cause of the flurry, is in fact, technically, not a split toe.
I have confirmation from SkoaB / Bonafe that though the stitching technique used is the same as what EG / Gaziano does for their split toe models (round closed stitch), Bonafe actually does it on one piece (instead of 2 pieces) of leather. So there is no actual seam. In other words, it's a decorative skin stitch.

The discussions are on the forum, for now.
Sometimes, for GMTOs, the link goes active on the website once enough interests are reached and there are members across multiple continents (like ours).
Other GMTOs may be fully organised and completed through SF and emails. Never even going through SkoaB's website.

Discard the boxes. Leave the shoes in the shoe bags. Wrap tightly in clothes.

Alternatively if u wish to keep the shoe boxes, max out the space by packing small clothing/items along w the shoes, or pack shoes outside boxes but use shoe box space efficiently for your other stuff.

I saw this brand hanson bootmaker.. first time heard of it. Anyone know where it is made? Usually it should be indicated on the shoe.. but i cant even find it

This is what I did. Will share picture soon. I'm just happy I managed to visit all 3 stores, and the significant other entertained herself with walking tours

Meccariellos arrived. Crappy room lighting. But these shoes look so goddamn good. Can tell I'll need plasters on the heel during the break in process but otherwise fits great. Very glad I sized up 0.5.

I do think the leather on the Enzos is just a bit more supple and comfy out of the box tho.

However! There's this tiny dent in the captoe. Otherwise a damn lovely pair of shoes.
