Anyone interested? Carlos santos derby in Havanna grain from skoaktiebolaget. Has a nice faux split toe detail. Sized UK6.5 in 234 last but too large for me. Probably fits someone who regularly wears UK7 better.

almost completely sold out on skoaktiebolaget. Priced at cost cos I can still return.

Pm me? :)

Awesome pricing and no idea how Carmina here is going to stay afloat here if Ryan sticks to this pricing model.

Bloody hell man.
I have meccariello's adelaide and am still tempted by that photo Lusso posted yesterday of the dark brown adelaide captoe.

Ya the colour and gradient very nice.
But it's off my budget for shoes and boots, maybe one day when I really have the budget/priorities in life I will get one of these or AM shoes!

Well, I think they're definitely worth saving up for, but you're absolutely right in sticking to your budget.
That's probably the most important thing.
There's no need to stretch yourself too much....
Or you won't enjoy your shoes as much.

All that being said, I'm very glad that locally, nowadays, deserving makers like AM, Enzo, Vass are really getting the attention and support they deserve.
Now with a local stockist for EB, things are certainly looking up.

TM, you should be the next one to bring in all the trunkshows for all the less well-known Japanese makers lol.

Haha.
And why would they even entertain a nobody?

Your home could realistically front for a "atelier" with all your shoes and no one would be none the wiser thousands of miles away. You could even do a flea for your shoes during the trunkshow!

Seriously though, it would be amazing if the Isetan trunkshows/exhibition in Japan could be done so here though not necessarily with solely Japanese makers.

@emospence Yes indeed that's the one

@arcfire @belthasar
Haha. Yes I've got a few pairs of shoes but I think a trunk show is probably a bit more complicated than that.
Though I must say that I agree, I do wish the artisan / menswear scene is as developed as it is in Japan.

Limited potential in a tropical/high humidity country like Singapore to develop a vibrant menswear scene when suits and seasonal style, critical elements to establishing such a culture, have low functional value.

Using myself as an example, cannot bring myself to getting another suit or a jacket when the 2 existing sets I have don't see action more than 3, 4 times a year.

Perhaps need to learn from CBS to dress up more in my daily life!

I should probably rephrase.
I wish the footwear / men's dress shoe scene was as developed as Japan.
We need to wear all kinds of shoes, year round.
So climate isn't an excuse.

Anyway, as such, we have a long way to go.
