Hi guys I plan to get a full Brogue from carmina. Not sure if I should get this from Skoatibolaget

Or this, direct from Carmina

There are a few other online stores that sell Carmina shoes (can be googled easily). See if those sources carry what you want and at a more competitive price?

Otherwise then buy from the Singapore store ba.. at least you can take comfort that you are getting something that you wouldn't be able to get/get cheaper off the internet.

Althought I strongly suggest you at least check out if crockett and jones or enzo bonafe carry something similar or something that you might fancy 1st before pulling the trigger. Both would provide better value IMHO than a pair of carminas at S$795.

Good luck!

Definitely beyond the shadow of a doubt, the SkoaB one.
If you intend on getting only 1 full brogue, it should be a mid to dark brown, to maximise it's versatility.

Agree on grounds of versatility and my personal preference as well. But ultimately you should get the one that you like best.

Is the TW Oak Room a place worth visiting?
Is there any thing they carry worth buying in terms of prices in comparison with online stores?

Just got this GMTO up and running
http://www.carminashoemaker.com/mto-groups-1224/full-strap-penny-loafers-80372

Thinking of another pair from them - Adelaide captoe, Simpson last in burgundy.

In fact, I organised a similar makeup in museum burgundy but didn't fancy museum leather after awhile.

The loafers look really good!

Simpson and burgundy is good with me but not inclined to get an Adelaide. Captoe balmoral sounds good after being inspired by thundermarch.. hardly see balmorals by Carmina or most European makers in general..

There's a damn pair of Uetam full strap loafers on GFW in llama. Bloody hell, they've been on my mind for a very long time now.
Most probably getting them.
Just let me clear off some more work first.

Getting the llama pair? Would love to see your 'exotic' leather shoe collection.

By the way for anyone that's curious, Uetam is pronounced, "Wettam" like "where-thumb". Been mistaking it as ee-thumb.

Bro, still going strong! For a moment i had thoughts of the loafers crafted out of a tibetian monk. Lol

Ooh so you're papercut?

Was considering this but alas im undecided on the tomir sole

Wanted to try a rubber sole, the rest looks a little too heavy duty.

Don't have any personal experience with Tomir but from what i've read it, it should feel somewhat similar to a single leather sole (plus a topy maybe).

Thoughts?
