The owner of that account prolly has a few other accounts that they use to bid and jack up the auction prices. I rmb there was a debate on SF where they found many identical bidders bidding on different sized shoes offered by this account owner.

Are you sure it is this specific account that you're referring to? Seller is legit. I've followed him for quite some time.

I'm pretty sure they were even banned for a period after some members sounded eBay out.

You can see the bids on some of their listings. They will have random 4-5 consecutive bids from a same bidder within a short time frame even tho their previous bids were not bested, and these bidders will have a ridiculously high 'bidding on the account's listings' %.

And yes, agreed on the goldmine part. Some stuff on there are really good value!

$150 for Trickers is like 75-80% off their typical list price at Tangs of $600-700.

Not surprised that those shoes don't get off the shelves at their original price or even at 50% off as the design simply does not attract the demographics who can/will afford to spend that sort of money.
