Anyways, just walked out of the LLYR 30% in-house sale. $460 for 2 pairs. I just got the last pairs in size 42 of 2 models.

Well, i did place a Vass order recently. I hope it will turn out alright.

Funny how the English (yea, the staid old English stereotypes) make the most accomodating and comfortable lasts.

I find that I fit most English shoemakers' shoes very comfortably, and the rest of the European ones a little more finicky.

Damn comfortable for high instep dudes like me.
Been tempting to get another English made shoe with dainite or tomir soles. Gonna be the go to for overseas work travels.

I have tried Herring, Cheaney, Loake, Edward Green. And none of them have disappointed me.

wow Vass really have great customer service!

AE pretty decent for me, my kenwood after 2-3yr of wear start squeaking and they cover all my shipping and repair for me free, then again I am not in SG.

U based in US is diff case altogether la... Unless u've alrd moved back to SG, in which case u could share more.

But even then u r prob alrd very familiar with and confident of your AE size to buy online, fr AE or other retailer.

Depends very much on your type of jeans, n overall outfit (tshirt, shirt or even sports coat). Like long wing derbies seem to match the type of jeans urban wear (per his IG pic) but may not work for skinny nudies, for example.
