Just to share, Skoak has some odd stock on sales. Good savings on carmina and enzo. Unfortunately no right size for me.

Unfortunately I haven't gotten them on my feet, I took a gamble too. Skoab advised me to take my normal size, but many people also size down. I went with normal size.

Will be able to give better input when I receive them in a few days, if you wanna risk waiting ;)

I wear the 363MOD in my Rain size. Though some ppl recommend sizing down, I have not experienced the generous instep that many have commented on... On my current pair of 363MOD boots.
I'll know more when I receive these boots.

thanks guys. the both of you are always so helpful

looks like i'll have to pass on those boots

If 42 is fitting but slightly tight at the widest part of my foot, versus 43 which is abit too long but fits the width of my foot better, which should I go for?

Depends on
1) your pain tolerance
2) the availabilty of wider widths for the maker in question.

I have a pair of Blake welt shoes with one piece of the welt dropping off on the inside left shoe. The leather is still good. Can the welt be replaced? Or I should just throw it away? I have used it for 10 years for special occasion like my solemnization.

I don't understand your question.
There's no such thing as a Blake welt.
It's either Blake stitched, where the insole is sewn directly to the outsole with a McKay machine.
Or it's Blake rapid, where the insole is sewn to a midsole. And the midsole is then sewn to the outsole.
In both these cases, there's no welt.
They can both be resoled, but Blake stitched pairs with much more difficulty. It can't be done easily at just any local cobbler, at least not to my knowledge. Your best bet would be to bring it back to the retailer / maker. It will prob need to be sent back to be resoled in Italy.

I'm thinking of an Enzo Bonafe group made to order (gmto) from skoakB rather than lusso, due to leather availability. Any interest? So far there's 2 ppl, we can do a GMTO with 4.

Enzo Bonafe long wing (probably in a round last like 363mod as shown in the picture)
- in tan tarnsjo leather (top left)
- norvegese chain welt (top middle)
- rope laces with leather ends (top right)

Also, some kind of rubber sole. Leaning towards millerighe but ok with other types of leather sole. Any interest?

Price is 4960 SEK (which is about S$770 using xe.com rates now), upcharge due to norvegese welt.
