the topic of socks slipping to the ankle hit me this week with a new pair of loafers.. the same pair of socks are ok on for the other pair of shoes with laces. new happy socks had the same fate of slipping.

any ideas? have to get those over the calf type?

Lol so I'm not alone!

I just got used to it... I tried so many different sock brands

Even tried over calf socks but my pants "stick" to them.

I see there is matte and shiny black. Matte easier to maintain right?

Avoid shiny black shoes. Those are corrected grain. Always go for matte calf leather.

Size wise, yiu can measure the length and width of your foot and email Herring for advise.

The funny thing is, only in my LLYR penny loafers the socks won't come down that much.

It does with my carmina and yanko. Loafers, laces, monks. I gave up trying to figure out lol

I wear, right now, mainly Uniqlo and other cheapo socks bought from overseas..

Same here... if the socks will drop, it will drop no matter what shoes I wear. My socks are affected by the elasticity and the length of the socks but never the type of shoes I wear.

I love the entire series.
But you'll find that the series was not so much about good antagonists, but more about Rocky's heart, and his ability to take a good bashing up.
