Ah! How long does it take to reach? So assuming I purchase this particular model. Everything including shipping and etc will be less than $300? That's awesome!
Any promos to enter?
200gbp is about 380 sgd.
Their shipping is quite fast, probably 3 days + processing time.

If its your first pair, I'd recommend grabbing the dainite soled version instead.
Singapore climate isn't really kind to leather soles.

If I order this week means by next week I could receive it? That's cool. I probably will do that. Going to go Robinson orchard tonight to try the size and see

Take note that Pediwear's winter sale ends today, 5th Feb, with free shipping for spending above 150 GBP. See homepage, click on the promo, then there is a link to terms and conditions. Not sure if their 5th Feb is based on 11.59 pm UK time or what.

Depends on whether they have ready stocks for the size and model of the shoe.
If not, it can take 1-2 weeks longer.

You need the shoes urgently?

The 289 ones are Goodyear.

I've never owned a pair of EEA to be honest. There are other bros here who have though, and can give better, more informed opinions about the maker overall.

Based on my experience, I would say that EEA shoes are of reasonable quality for the price they are at. However I would add that the QC, previously at least, could be erratic so do be warned.

With the decline in GBP rates post-Brexit, some of the entry level UK brands like Loake, Barker could offer similar/better value, especially if gotten during a sale.

However, I always encourage people to take advantage of EEA's retail presence in SG to go look, see, feel, try the shoes for yourselves. No amount of online research/feedback can replace that experience.

Good luck!

When i placed an order during the Black Friday sales last year, they initially did not have my size ready in shop and mentioned they were bringing in new supply from the manufacturer. This was reflected in the status of the purchase, which they updated meticulously. Within i think 2 days, they updated that the stock was in and ready to be delivered. So imho, they worked really fast, especially when i received my shoes 2 days after DHL picked up from their shop. Just make sure your payment has zero problems and it should be fast. I had problems with my card so I bypassed that by using Paypal.

In their payment portal, there should be a place to write a message to them if there is anything you want them to take note of. So i guess you can mention you need the shoes by a certain date.

That's really good! Hope it will go well. Firstly will go Robinson later to check on Loake sizing. Hopefully I can find the Loake Aldywch to try the size. If not, hopefully something with capital last.

I probably will go for the Dainite sole.

FYI, there was Loake Aldywch and 1 more model of the same Capital last in Metro Centrepoint. That was where i tried the shoes last November. Not sure if they still carry them now.

I think they are good until you have looked at the GYW and better but I will not think Geox is exactly entry level
I've had bad experience with Geox shoes and if you do a quick search online, you will see many comments of the Geox soles coming off easily. A couple of years back I bought a pair of Geox shoes from the now extinct premium line with leather soles, which cost more than your Carlos Santos and Loakes etc at retail price. The soles started to split within 6 months on wear. The heel plate was also "fake" in the sense that it was a piece of plastic designed to look like wood. In terms of "breathing" soles, I don't think it's very noticeable. Thinner socks would do the trick.

After that experience with even such a "premium" brand, I started to learn more about shoe construction which led to my discovery of GYW, other welted constructions and blake stitch. This led me to learn more about care and maintenance of shoes and now I offer maintenance and repair services such as Topy and heel replacement etc. So in a crooked sense, buying a pair of Geox was beneficial but I wouldn't recommend them, especially not at retail price.
Thanks bros for the advises. And if I am looking for an entry level shoes for work, budget around 150 to 200 per pair. Where should I look?
Btw has anyone tried ed et al?

Another alternative is earnest and collective. One pair ard 129, tried two paris from them but am looking to try other makes without exceeding my next budget of 200.

Hope to see other recommendations other than EEA.

Visited Josh @ the Seamless Bespoke store today. Very impressed by his warmth, hospitality, and more importantly his enthusiasm and knowhow.

Walked away with two pairs - black Yanko oxford with medallion toecap, plus a clearance Enzo for $500 (oooh!).

Highly recommend paying a visit.
