thanks everyone for their feedback. i admit it was an oversight on my part not to order the shoe brush together with my shoetrees lol.. will head down to mustafa and check out the Dasco brushes, as well as to obtain Saphir or Colloni locally (recall llyr retailing Saphir but am unsure of their pricing, will ask).

do most of you vibram your leather soles immediately upon receiving your shoes? i plan to do so as i cant take the 'smoothness/slippery-ness' of the leather soles though i must say walking with em is something else! compared to your usual rubber soles.

Bro. Iinm, Tangs card will not expired. You might want to check with them if you still have the card. They are having anniversary sales with 12% rebate this Friday. Maybe is a good time to hoot some creams and shoes.

Btw. I want to check with you guys about Barker's sizing. I'm interested to hoot this pair: http://www.herringshoes.co.uk/product-info.php?&brandid=2&shoeid=8871. But I'm unsure about the sizing. Normally I'm wearing US 10 for brands like rockport, Clark,hp. Do I need to size down or I can just go UK 9? Because I only wear UK8 for car shoe.. Lol.

About Saphir shoe cream, just went Tangs and got so many types. Confused on what to buy for calf leather.

Anyone can recommend?

aiyo ... why u never check here before ordering your shoe tree from TB? You should have ordered the horsehair shoebrush from TB together.

Shoe cream, u can get Saphir or Collonil 1909. I'm using the 1909, bought from the clobber at clementi mall basement.

Get the wax, cream or both in whatever shade u need. Reno or conditioner once in a while to strip off excess wax and condition.

Collonii EEA carries in their shop

Locally about $20+, I think. Will confirm again when I go to Clementi mall.

I also get them online from robinsonshoes, together with my shoes or belts. Free shipping plus 20% discount, about UKP7+

after searching the past threads, it seems most of the bros here did vibram rubber soles at around $25/- ? is this the current going rate at Shoekey and similiar shops?
