anyone own any pair of shoes with wooden soles?
just got a pair of loafers online and the soles are made of wood? kind of uncomfortable as it restricts bending.

Hey guys, can anyone suggest any alternatives to EEA? Budget about $200-$300 for Oxford Lace-ups
Thanks

There's Llyr, and Meermin if you don't mind shopping online. Loake 1880 if there's a good discount, but there seems to be a clampdown on Export sales as of late.

Hey bumd, if it's any consolation at all : I used to think leather soles were wooden soles as well, and I now have a collection sid can only dream of having.

That aside, it always amazes me how people can buy stuff knowing zilch about them.

Full retard consumerism it is.

Pfft yeah, it's not like these people would have a valid excuse, like careers or family - none of which are more important than spending free time reading menswear blogs.

Ah yes! Paiseh. Abit distanced from SG now hahaha

Somehow my mind always envisions Marina Square and Suntec as one entity :s13:
FWIW Atelier LLYR used to have (still has?) a presence in Marina Sq
Thanks bro-

Well it only requires 5 mins on the interwebs or more episodes of Discovery's "How do they do it" with the kids :s13:

Hope you didn't wear your Vass to the beach

Wearing Sagara boondockers here. Thinking of trying Txture next :s13:

They will be making a new pair in the correct last on priority, delivered to me by Christmas here :D

That aside, one F last 39.5 cognac cordovan George Boot lying unclaimed that I'm sure Budapest will flog off at a discount if anyone is interested.
