sales start at http://www.herringshoes.co.uk/

inclusive of taxes/handling fee + free shoe tree if pickup from local shop... i think its fair?

Might as well get from Skoak.
Carmina tree's arnt lasted. Nothing special about them.
At that price level, there's handwelted Enzo, Vass etc.
Can even avoid GST![]()
skoak can avoid GST? i ordered from carmina previously. the UPS guy just turn up at night and ask for $50+. lol.
whats the price point for enzo and vass?
i def need a MTO cause skoak doesn't wanna take UK5 orders except MTO.. sigh.

Is it possible to get Danny's contact from you?Vass price point is above USD700 unless you got in on special MO deals.
There's a local guy Danny you could contact for fitting in Orchard but it's on appointment basis.

Hi...nice shoe!
the sole seems to be leather....not slippery on wet surface![]()
Thanks. Yelp is leather sole. Will sent to apply tops / vibram sole guard before wearing it.
Pros and cons of sole guards?
Now that Carmina has increased their prices, Enzo Bonafe seems quite attractive now since they are handwelted.![]()
Vass is def not 700 usd
The local guys are flogging their RTW at 650-680 sgd already.
FYG 700+ USD can get MTO cordovan ankle boots inclusive shipping. Though the pair were not from the local guys as I was not based here for abit
700USD is the number quoted by Issac and Danny (local distributor) for a pair of Oxfords in gold museum calf, metal taps and tapered soles.
I think you might want to share how you got your Vass at SGD650 so perhaps we can tag an order with you, that price range you're referring to is definitely not available to non-regular buyers who aren't organizing MOs and with the EUR now at 1.5. That also doesn't include the metal taps, double to single tapered soles as well as the museum calf options...
In short, I think you're being too optimistic with your estimate.
From the Horse's Mouth. Unless he means to quote me USD in Singapore?

Vass also has a pricelist you can email and ask for btw. IIRC its 420 Eur for shoes, well within $680 sgd.
Also, a Thai based mate has a pair of cordovan vass boots coming in this December. That's then mid 700USD
