Just read, JOHN DOE shoes does seem inferior and not worth it. Might as well get a Meermin Classic Collection which after deducting VAT (when shipped) out of Europe is €132.23
€40 is a lot for shipping overseas, but can split with many bros here who wants Saphir products that Meermin sells.

anyone tried Obenauf LP on your shoes? i tried using them and they really darken the shade of my shoes. is there any way i can get back the brighter shade again?

how i tell if it is cordovan or calf shoe?

Cordovan doesn't really crease, but forms rolling waves.
If you paid less than $500 brand new though, it is probably calf leather.

Yes my classic range's doublemonks took them 1.5months before they ship out. Maybe due to some time they need to burnish the toes based on my request.

I would say Uk6 as well. But it differs from last to last. In addition, an oxford and a double monk made from the same last will fit differently as well. Might help if you perhaps post the shoe or let us know the last type.
