Any idea if a shoe can be "lowered" by removing 1 or 2 layers of the heel at the back?

Also, where in raffles place can find uncle cobbler to make the shoe less slippery?

Thanks.

Please share your review when u get your shoes! I am going to order herring 026 LAST shoe, i tried Loake severn size 9 G, but I am still thinking whether should I get 9 F or 9 G for Herring shoes, share with me on your herring's sizing when you get it!

I suspect you, as well as many people have been tying laces the wrong way all your life. Have you read this?

Good find bro...I am one of the many others who have been tying a granny knot! From tomorrow onwards, I now know how to tie a proper knot liao!!!

im not related to this guy, but edify is making a goodyear-welted leather shoes. damn reasonable price, 250sgd only. he is trained in europe and can also do recrafting. so you can buy from overseas too and repair in singapore.

all details here. http://edify-inc.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/Catalogue-2011.pdf

thinking of getting one.

hmm, the picture doesnt provide full angle and details of the shoes, i'll say its quite decent and I always prefer to support singaporean!

But in this case, the shoes from him is quite pricey even though I understand the high cost of living in SG. Given a similar price, people will easily choose english shoes over singapore made shoes.

You will be hard-pressed to find goodyear-welted, full calf uppers Made in England shoes in Singapore for less than $400... Italian shoes, at least $600.
