most of the cobblers and shoe shops (even the ladies shoe shops) have shoe stretcher.

or you can DIY by using rubbing alcohol and wearing the shoes with very thick socks.

Thinking of getting a pair of AEs, but not very sure about shipping and sizing. Can anyone who has ordered online advise on how to get correct sizing as well as their shipping and return policy...? For some weird reason I can't load their website and I can only see their shoes from resellers like Nordstrom...

Wear with thick socks when u are at home to stretch, not to go out la.

Best is to natural stretch to the shape of your feet.. using stretcher if overdone, not reversible.

Also, stretching can help if u need it wider but if your issue is with length, not sure if it can be stretched more..

Nice. Especially the finishing touches of the wood rivets. Are they functional or purely for aesthetic?

can find in guardian pharmacy. try using this on the leather before using your stretcher.

after the stretching, remember to condition the leather again.

Maybe you csite like evade123.cm to assess.
They have a shoe size chart where you can print (set to actual size) and trace your feet with socks and provide AE with your measurements for them to recommend the size for the pair of shoes you are interested in

Its the last. Doesnt fit well. Nothing much you can do. I had the same prob with meermin dub monks. It will stretch with wear but albiet a painful process.

You got the Meermin LM DMs is it?

The Classic DMs is based on Hiro last which i understand to fit quite generously, width wise.

Nope. Classic DM. Its the shape/last rather which makes the length shorter than it is.

Hiro. Basically I accepted that my feet cant fit the last and have moved on to try other brands.

My feet arent wide or exceptionally big. I have a pair of loakes in capital last in the same size and it fits way better than the hiro last.

This is not to say the meermins were of inferior quality. In fact i think the leather takes wax better, and the aesthetics of the meermins looks nicer. But its not worth the pain.

hmm.... what size you normally wear and what size of the hiro shoe you order (uk size).

I wear UK8 and has both olfe and hiro last in uk8. Both olfe and hiro last fit well for me but hiro is abit wider hence not as tight as olfe for my case
