Having buyer's regret. Contemplating whether to let my carmina go due to wrong sizing, after wearing it for one day.

Pm me if you guys are interested, with an offer. Uk 6.5, rain last

As a rule of thumb, just size down from a US size to UK size by half size. I did a one full size down. My pinky toe is kinda squashed. I have wide feet. Sigh.

The rain last in my opinion is not really generous. I think a uk 7 will fit me better

Damn man
I also heard numerous people commenting about the narrowness of the New Rey
I really like those burgundy semi brogues though. I'm crossing my fingers that they'll fit
By the way, even the sewn belts can be cut. Theres a shoe / belt guy at basement of paragon beside the magazine store near the toilet (earlier in the forum this guy was also discussed when there was a lot of back and forth about Topy / Vibram) that does a pretty good job with sewn belt alterations. Not expensive, probably 10 + dollars I think?

Drop pepe an email on the sizing.

Boils down to knowing your feet. I have G width feet n rain last in 0.5 size up may work for me whereas a narrow feet guy need to go down 0.5. Rain last prob the only carmina dress shoe last to work for me. But even then, prob wait for a chance i can try before plonking $600 upwards for them

I'm 6.5 on Rain last but unfortunately I don't need another pair of black shoes. I'd wear the shoes a few more times to break them in though; if it's just the pinky then it might get better with a few wears. Buy better socks as well.

Think its a rather new last? Is it listed on the pediwear loake lasts comparison? U can also drop pediwear a note, they are pretty helpful as well.

Is that burgundy or brown?

It occupies a nice place in between those two colours.

Before they looked closer to these :

Then after a few polishing sessions with black, burgundy and neutral :

With flash the redness is more apparent :

yeah dude, no one seems to know
not even the bloke on herringshoes
the pediwear site with the loake last comparison also does not discuss it
anyway i will try emailing pediwear

Loake's reply was a lengthy 4 paragraphs telling me , essentially,
"everyone's foot is different, instead of asking stupid questions, go try on the shoe"
Duh, I would if I could
