Anyway, what would you guys do if someone steps on your shoe?
Throw a hissy fit?

Perhaps, but not the case for everyone. Case in point, i have regressed to wearing my AEs all the time after getting sick of babying the supposedly higher quality Vass shoes.
Everyone is reading too much into this. Maybe he just likes the damn shoes? We buy things because we like them, no point trying to find utility when it lies with the beholder. If I have a million bucks in my wallet and I want to eat KFC, I'm going to eat KFC because I damn well want to.
To be quite honest I choose to buy many pairs of shoes because
1) I like variety.
2) If the design catches my eye, I will buy it.
3 a) Carmina makes excellent shoes, and honestly, at that price point, there is no competition, not even close.
b) Carmina has a huge variety of designs, almost something for everyone, in my opinion.
4) As all_in_a_day rightfully mentioned, I would only do bespoke in person
5) To be quite honest, buying shoes, admiring them, polishing them, loving them, has a cathartic / therapeutic effect on me, and gives me respite from what is otherwise a pretty shitty period in my life.
So there

Yah everyone is reading too much into it. Thundermarch has 20 over pairs of shoes. Me too. I have 25 pairs at last count. I also have a pair George Cleverley bespoke shoes. By bespoke, I mean my personal last, my personal design etc. Different from Diamond Walker's definition of "bespoke". Even though I have gone the bespoke route, I am still buying RTW or MTO.

There's a few of us here with more than 20 pairs![]()
I would stare at the offender, ask to see his watch, and then mock him for not investing in a dress watch before I head back to my parent's home and jack off to photographs of my TAG; already kept in a time capsule in the off chance that I find someone stupid enough to make children with me.
Say "You wear Rolex, you pass"?
