anyone can recommend shoe brands that have a relative thicker sole for better cushioning?

Firstly, depends on your shoe type preference. If cushioning is overriding priority, go for the 'comfort' dress shoe brands like geox, rockport, clarkes, ecco or even hush puppies.
If you're into welted european-type shoes (which forms a majority of the discussion here), then I would suggest simply getting your own insole inserts. You have to consider whether u have a high instep and your choice style of shoes. For e.g. High instep + oxford, you may not be able to fit the shoes with inserts.
Good luck!
Vibram sole avg $25. Most cobblers like Solemann should have. If Topy I think Shukey has.
Renovateur locally cheapest I found is on Carousell ($25). There is Pate de lux and Cream also ($28). Or else you can head down to Mason & Smith or EEA, they have.
Brush just go Mustafa lol

hi thanks for the info.
anyws i just bought a double monk shoe in ed et al.
i was wondering if anyone knows i shld vibram sole as a whole or just the tip or heel of shoe? or just the tip of shoe will do.
The heel is already rubber so you can change when it wears out. It's a matter of preference whether you like the feeling of walking with leather sole or not. When the rubber is applied on the sole it will cover the front half of the sole. I haven't seen shoes with anything shorter though...hi thanks for the info.

you can try putting a tap like below, but a topy is normally good enough. Or topy + tap if your gait really wears out the front severely.

I'm so sorry. I cannot recall exactly who and I'm a little lazy to look
But approx 10 days ago someone asked me about how new rey fits relative to simpson
I only just received them today
my verdict is this
sizing up half is sufficient for me at least
compared to the simpson, new rey has a slightly narrower toe box but a more generous waist and also a slightly lower instep
its a pretty comfortable fit for me actually
NPNT!
How does the LM range compare with Carminas?

Thanks bro! I'm still more keen on the Carmina. Unfortunately they don't have stock for the model that I'm keen on. Guess it'll have to wait. Saves my wallet for the moment.
