If anyone's ordering, I'd like to tag along a pair of shoe tree as well.

Also, should I downsize one or two so it can fit into the shoes much easier.

kinda disappointed with my meermin shoes. took these pics at the end of the first day wearing them..

the front as well. quite a pronounced ridge has formed. note that these shoes were worn for only about 10 hours.

any suggestions on how to make these go away? the right side is more affected than the left btw..

Looks alittle like the shoe is too long for you and the vamp is too high as well. Can you put in two fingers at the back of your shoe?

I don't think Woodlore is available in SG.
I paid about SGD$40 a pair from Amazon, when I joined in a mass order conducted here.

Honestly, if it wasn't for my big feet (US11), I would just get Muji shoe trees.

No you don't. Just get the one for your shoes size.

One more thing to add.. If your shoe size in between two sizes, e.g. Uk 10.5,you should get size 11 shoe tree instead of 10...so get either the same size as your shoes or half size up...

Shoe polishing day. Somehow don't look forward to polishing them. They have been conditioned waiting to dry. No incentive to polish cheapo shoes.

Bexley stated in their website that if its half size, chose the size down. Eg. If shoe is US9.5, choose US9 Shoe tree.

I recommend size up. It will fill the shoes up better and even out the creases.

Btw I bought 5 pairs of the Bexley shoetrees.

Herring state half size up... Who is right who is wrong, I am not sure... Logically it should be half size bigger because leather will expand over time.. And if you put half size smaller, it might be a bit loose in the shoe, which defeat the purpose of the shoe tree...

Thank you. These are cheap bata shoes. $80 each only but goodyear welted and leather is just OK only. I got rid of the stupid tag they sew on the heel pad.

These have been just briefly polished. Couldnt bother with a full shine as shoes tend to get stepped on when taking public transport.

Wow. Didnt know Bata has gone so advanced. You sure they are Goodyear welted? These look good in the pictures.

You can polish the same way as army boots but i use a leather conditioner first. Other than that, just time, a little wax, water and effort. Nothing special required.

But for those shoes with brogueings, a brush is very useful.
