There are neutral colours for shoe polish if i'm not wrong..

Yes, there are neutral polish. But reading on shoe care articles, neutral should only be use on light coloured shoes. most mention neutral will leave a white residue on dark coloured shoes especially in the creases. Not sure how true but think it's better to refrain from using neutral as I like it the colour to be rich :)

anyone wears obermain? german brand.

my pair lasts abt 9 months...wear off mostly due to me dragging my feet (bad habit). shoe can be pretty slippery too.

can anyone recommend me a brand abt 80-100 dollars? thinking of getting a new pair.

Anyone have experience or comments on Santoni shoes? Iirc they're the ones that go into the thousands at the taka dept store. Asking because I hear they may be alot cheaper in Europe.

I may have missed any discussion on Church's, but are they any good? As many have noted before, the primary concern when buying online is fit... and Church's has boutique at Ion, which makes life alot easier..

Church imo, are overpriced, and declined after being acquired by the prada group.

The Church brothers have since gone on to cheaney's.

Not into high-end shoes, and still unwilling to fork out 3xx - 4xx for a good pair.

So I found Rad Russel a nice upgrade over Pedro/ Aldo-esque shoes. Design looks modern enough, and quality looks decent (hoping it lasts!) enough.

Approx $180ish from Tangs.

Other than Grenson, I would recommend brands like Crockett & Jones and Tricker's. Very well made Goodyear welted shoes. You can always re-sole after the original soles have worn out.

both brands have really nice designs but C&J are costly and Tricker's is just a tad cheaper..

you mean re-sole at UK or Singapore?

Hi mods, why has the persistent advertising of aluihy's mass order threads gone unnoticed?

Deluxe member or not, should give him a t-ban no?

You can of course re-sole at Northampton factory in the UK. I think there must be some options for re-soling in Singapore too. My shoes are not worn enough to require re-soling at this point.
