Heel : 1/4 Rubber, 3/4 Leather

I'm selling these shoes because I bought a size too small for my feet. Should have gotten my feet measured before.. My loss, your gain.

The Dark Brown calf goes well with gray trousers and it is full grain leather (not the polished stuff that you get from Aldo, Rockport etc.)

Got the Topy applied by Mirrco at $22, to make the leather sole last longer and to get rid of the slippery feeling of leather.

Robinsons has some brands which are decent. Unless you're looking for premium fabrics and very nice fit. Cost of the shirts determine the quality there, so I would recommend those that cost around $80 and up after any sale discounts. Those are generally one up from G2k if you're looking for office wear.

I was at Marks and Spencer, Wheelock Place, and they have packs of 2 shirts for $79. Quality wise is better than G2K. Also have pants for $49. Decent deal.

Finding a good tailor is a bit of a hit or miss. I realise that the tailor may make your first 'test' shirt very well, but subsequent shirts are quite lousy.

Find a OTR that fits you well with minimal alteration required. Or look for a better tailor. The hwz thread on tailors seems like a good start.

Back on topic : Anyone seen any shops selling Shell cordovan shoes?

Unless you walk like a penguin, there is no real way to avoid creasing the shoes.

However, a shoe tree helps in 2 ways.

1) Lessens the creases by keeping the shoe in shape, while not being worn.
2) Wooden shoe trees absorb the moisture from your shoe. This helps to prevent odors. Also helps the leather last longer. Leather doesn't like to be moist and damp.

Plastic shoe trees help to keep the shape, but don't have any moisture absorbing ability. It works in a pinch, but I wouldn't use it as a long term solution.

Also keeping the shoes well cared for, with creams and conditioners, will go a long way in keeping deep creases from setting.

Unless the pair of shoes have polished leather uppers, which will have deep creases regardless.

Most people recommend two shoes for rotation, so that one pair can completely rest while the shoe tree does its work.

What kind of brands are good for working shoes? I have a pair from Hush Puppies but it's pretty old so looking to get at least 2 new pairs. They need to be comfortable, can last for at least a year and cost around $150.

Going off-topic but does anyone also know where I can get loafers/slip-ons? I had a pair from Pedro but like someone mentioned earlier, the quality is really lousy and I have to get a new one.

Apparently, there is a Suede / Nubuck Conditioner by Ecco available. I've never used it.

My routine for Suede is
1) Brush to remove dirt
2) Suede Eraser to get rid of stains and cleaner if really dirty
3) Damp cloth to wipe everything down
4) Brush again to raise nap of suede
5) Waterproofing spray
