It is stated as PU leather, I have a pair of Chelsea from thier fashion series. Used for rain shoes.

It looks like it had been used for years, in fact it is less than 3 days..hhahahaahaha..I must have been walking for years.. It goes well with my Diesel Jeans.

Very nice and rugged look. What oil or conditioner you used to speed up the aging process?

And yes! Japan's Isetan has astounding well made shoes at very affordable prices!

The Japanese take a lot of pride in all artisanal goods. They think of it as an art rather than just a wear and throw item.

Their romance with handmade gooods is beautiful and amazing.

I hardly think those found in Isetan are hand made though. I could be wrong, because it's hard to judge from price observation alone.

Even their ladies shoes are gorgeous!

The first 2 may be a little out of your budget, but you can bargain. They are not exactly entry level brands, so they may be a good deal at that price. The third may be what you are looking for. You decide.

Try to buy those so that I can't look at them anymore.

Unfortonately, neither of them quite appeal to me so you will have continue being tempted by them

I've been searching eBay quite regularly and it's hard to find walnut/cognac colored shoes; much less ones with quarter broguing

Or any place that sells Saphir Reno cheaper than Ed Et Al? His products very overpriced leh, even online + shipping beat his price by quite a bit.

If you are bored with shoes, there are 7 more floors of mens-only wears . Afterwhich, you can hunt down the bespoke makers around Tokyo.

Anyone here went KL for shoe shopping? I want to go shoe shopping but no time to travel. Sad to say our neighours up north have better quality and variety of shoes.

The last I heard their bastion of quality shoes moved out of KL due to rising rents, hiddden somewhere in the suburbs. I wouldnt dare go alone unless I have a local guide. Scared get lost hehe.

Btw I started a facebook page called shoeshine uncle. I only help my family and friends for now. No time for even my own shoes how to help others.

Probably will go on my own mini hunting to find some gems if I can dig some information out of people I meet there.

Out of my budget to go full bespoke so I'll just settle for drooling and maybe a semi.

Nope. Totally don't speak Japanese.

Will probably just hire a translator for a day or just pre-translate key shoe phrases coupled with sign language when I travel over.

Hi All,

I got a Brooks Brothers Penny Loafer in US 9 EEE but it is quite a bit big for me so I'm wondering if anyone would be interested to buy it. Brooks Brothers Peny Loafer is made for them by Allen Edmonds after the Presidio model; the only difference is in the sole: Allen Edmonds Presidio has a full rubber sole while the Brooks Brothers Penny Loafer has a combination (half leather half rubber) sole.

It is a New-In-Box Factory Seconds (meaning that it did not pass QC 100%). I have yet to find an issue that cannot be polished off (I will upload pictures after I polish them).

It should fit a US 9.5 or UK 9 quite nicely. Looking to sell it at $200 but open to offers. I can use an insole to fit use it but I think the shoe is best when it fits nicely. Do PM me if any of you are interested
