I bought a pair of plain toe oxford from the on-going sample sale at Ed Et Al for $150. Put on vibram rubber soles at Mister Minit for $45 and bought a Mister Minit cedar wood shoe tree at $74 to go along with it.

A case of impulsive buying. Shopaholics will probably understand.

Total cost $269 looking to sell the lot for $180.
Or just the shoe with the vibram rubber soles for $130.

Worn less than 7 times (I don't repeat my shoes in a week).

PM me if you are interested.

what's wrong with chukka for work wear? I personally like them over the lower cuts. Maybe it is just me...

Workwear as in office wear? Not appropriate for strict CBD.

But if your dresscode is casual button downs and chinos/jeans, will be sweet.

Dark brown is still the safest, unless you are more daring then try to play with brighter colors like Burgundy, Mahagony or honey brown.

^ these are nice colours, i particularly fond of Mahagony, but the shoe cream and polish not easy to find. Tried to order Starwax from Malaysia but they don't want to entertain me.

Why vibram? :(

Just don't wear on rainy days lor.

Nice leather soles wasted with vibram imo.

I love leather soles too, but a few near misses on slipping (esp stairs) have changed my mind.
old liao... cannot take falls...

Hi pwillie,

Are you referring to Kips N Kwik? If so, looks like prices have gone up.

I did mine at $25 late last year. The uncle did a great job though.
