I bought Woodlore Epic Twin Tube Shoe Tree, I find the quality is good, similar to my Herrings shoe tree. Never had rope one to compare with so I can't comment.

Just note that dont get one that fits too tightly to the shoe, cos if it is too tight and you use the gold knob to pull the shoe tree out with a lot of resistance, over time the knob will come off.

Anyway I got a spare new Woodlore Epic twin tube small size (US8E - 9E) which is too small for me. anyone wants let me know

Does the sizing for woodlore match correctly to the indicated shoe size?

Anybody purchased a pair of shoes from Andersons of Durham before? Seems like UK sites offer the best value for some popular brands mentioned here.

in terms of sizes how does meermin wear relative to ecco shoes? would a size 43 in ecco be equivalent to size 10 for meermin?

See Woodlore website based on US sizing:

size-chart-mens-epic-shoe-tree2.png

Based on Amazon website: Small (US8E - 9E) and Medium (US 9.5E - 10E)
My AE 9.5E fits well with the Medium size.

See the small (left) and medium (right) Woodlore shoe trees on my Meermin size UK 7.5
I would say the Small can fit max UK 7.5 (UK 8 might just make it without any compression in the length) while Medium can fit smallest UK 7.5 to UK 9.5.

From website my UK 7.5 should be using Small. But I find Medium fits too

Saphir reno,wax & cream

Hi Guys, been lurking in this forum. In any case, i would like to know if any of you guys would be interested in getting Saphir products. It is not much cheaper but just a couple of bucks less. However, i need at least 20 orders for each product before i can get them. Since i will be getting these from france, the shipping to sg might take some time i'm guessing 15-20days..

Saphir Renovateur 75ml @ $28

Saphir Pommadier Cream Shoe Polish 75ml @ $24
(Mahogany, Navy, Bordeaux, Cognac, Grey, Havana, Clear, Light Brown, Medium Brown, Dark Brown, Black, Red Hermes, Dark Green)

Saphir Pate De Lux Wax Shoe Polish 100ml @ $18
(Mahogany, Navy, Bordeaux, Cognac, Havana, Clear, Yellow Wax, Light Brown, Dark Brown, Medium Brown, Black, Dark Green)

All prices are in SGD. Those interested please drop me a PM with what you want and contact details (mobile number and email), and feel free to order any amount of quantity. Payment will be collected once order is confirmed if the minimum quantity of 20units of each product is reached. I will wait a week or so for orders to be filled. Cheers.

20 units of each product will sure need to pay GST. Have you factored that into the costs?
There are other websites similar price to what you indicated without that high a quantity and faster shipping.

Yup i I already factored GST in. Sorry, i made a mistake i need only 10 orders per product. Yes i do know that there are other places where you can buy it for almost the same price and thus i said it might only be a couple of bucks cheaper, but i am not too sure if their shipping charges are worth it if you intend to purchase only one or two products. The products are actually cheaper in France from where a friend of mine buys, but to take advantage of the shipping those are the quantities needed. Let me know if you have any more doubt. I will check up on the shipping lead time and keep you guys updated. Thanks:)

i believe most of the guys here will not mind spending a few dollars more to purchase it from our retail stores. Save them the hassle of tracking, and a peace of mind.

To OP, just purchase what you need, sufficient for yourself.

Btw, saphir renovateur costs $25 at fifyfive, if i am not mistaken. correct me if i am wrong.

Nope for saphir renovateur fifyfive is selling at $30. Saw it when I was there this evening to get the wax polish at $20

Personally I also did not take up arcfire's offer to get from A Fine Pair of Shoes since its a mere $2 difference.

I though France the country of production would be cheaper for Saphir products, say maybe €10 for the renovateur since Meermin in Spain sells at €12

It probably is but the shipping is the killer that removes all the cost savings as the item itself is something that costs alot.

How much was the Saphir cream polish @ 55?

Also, does anyone know the price range for Colonil cream polish? I might want to get both brands and do a comparision.

Honestly, Saphir Renovateur doesn't seem to be doing anything special.

On the other hand, a bottle can last freaking long. I wouldn't give a damn about those 'few-dollar savings'. As long as it is below 30 bucks can already. Should last like half a year to a year anyway.

Yes shipping costs are very high.

I was playing around the orders for Meermin and observed something strange.
Shipping for pair of shoes from their classic range is €40 and can add a maximium of 9 bottles of Renovateur without any increase in shipping.
However without the shoes (only purchasing 9 bottles of Renovateur) the shipping is €90!
