Got them from Taobao :)

Might get more in the future. They cost approximately 25-30 after shipping.

I got one from there too. Costs around 25+. But there are actually a few sellers to choose from. Apparently some claimed to be the OEM for woodlore :s22:

Do you polish to high shine? You need reno > cream > wax

If not reno > creme is good enough for maintenance.

Two horsehair brush one black one brown (wax on/off or black/other shoes)

If you dont use fingers or cloth to apply you need a dauber brush for each color cream.

One polishing cloth

Elbow grease

First time, brush away dust, apply reno or cream a couple of layers and let the leather absorb overnight before polishing.

Thanks, I'm not looking to polish to a high shine.

So I'll just get the SAPHIR MEDAILLE D'OR RENOVATOR CREAM and the SAPHIR MEDAILLE D'OR POMMADIER CREAM POLISH (2 colours)?

Yup. Use the reno as a base then cream to polish.

Btw, for those looking to purchase shoe trees from Amazon, current Black Friday promotion is 25% off when you purchase 1 or more. Enter code BFSHOE25 and it can also be used for shoes and handbags as well. Only valid till 30 November 2013, 11.59pm PST.

Will probably get the more expensive shoe trees: Amazon.com: Woodlore Epic Twin Tube Shoe Tree: Shoes

2 pairs for US$45 (discount applied). Top with some other stuff to hit US$125 and you get your free shipping.

u guys can check out berluti. The shoes can last up till 10 years. The leather of the shoes can go through this treatment called patina where u can change colour of the leather at any time.

That's what Septième Largeur is offering, as BDC mentioned earlier, they're like a rival to Berluti.

Was there earlier.

The price is a disappointment. $630 for their dress shoes and $300 for the loafers. $750 for the patina.

They don't have an option of repairing your shoes locally now if you require re-welting.

They were not. 250 euros over there, price more than doubles when it reaches our shores.

I hope I managed to keep my poker face when I heard the price. To be honest, I was very disappointed,

Wait, so the last time I visited I was told I could place an order, they'll ship it over. Hypothetically, now they'll tell me I need to visit the SG branch instead, and pay double the price at least? Notwithstanding I should think I can claim the 12% VAT if it were shipped from France.

That'd really be cornering the market, man.
