Prices are more costly than other local retailers

More costly by how much? Single digit or double-digit? Double-digit would be too much.

Hmm.... I don't see a lot of range at EEA facebook... always in limited quantities and just a few colours. Diamond Walker seems to have much more colours and range of items. Maybe because they have so many colours of shoes?

With the stupid thunderstorms these days... I think I definitely need a waterproof spray for my shoes. Definitely won't wear that galoshes that Draculav posted.

Ed and llyr. Septieme Largeur sell some products, but dun think is saphir brand
They have their own house brand wax which I'm using now. I think it works fine.

For renoveuter, there's not many alternative so I stick to Saphir. It's not expensive anyway, you only need to rejuvenate the leather once or twice a month. Unless you have dozens of shoes to polish.

**DING DONG**

I opened the door and a nice delivery man asked "Mr Chickenbackside?", and I said "Yes, this is he."

I signed on a piece of paper and off he went.

No prizes for guessing what the box contains.

A little reminder of how the shoes looked like when Beta and myself bought them:

So, on to the pics...

What's in here?

Let's find out

Included in each pair is

1) a little hand-written note with the name of the patina, the serial number and Alex Nurulaeff's signature

2) a little bottle of "luxury lotion" with cotton wool pad applicators

3) a small piece of leather with his Dandy Shoe Care logo that is patina's to the same colour as the shoes

And finally, a couple of indoor shots, which would be a more accurate representation of how they would be perceived most of the time...

Yes, they are Mountbattens.

We sent them to Alex Nurulaeff (dandy shoe care) in Italy to be hand painted.

No offence, but the 'dream of spring' looks abit like algae growth on toe cap, heel and sole. M sure in real life looks much better.

My new custom-made shoes from Diamond Walker! :s12: I have very very small feet and it fits very nicely now compared to all my other shoes which is very loose because I can't find shoes my size and even the smallest size is still too big for me! Feeling is the shiokest! Highly recommend for those with small feet! :) :)

Haha! No offence at all.

Don't forget the algae growth also extends to the back of the heel, the pulling tabs and also the sole!

Actually, in real life, it's much more subtle. If you don't pay attention, it's just a pair of brown shoes. But when you look closer, you'll notice the twist, which is exactly what I told Alex Nurulaeff I wanted.
