Working Shoe for Young Exec

When i used to travel alot for work, always lace ups oxfords in western countries and loafers in Asia, as there are more times where I have had to remove my footwear. I also generally use loafers on flights (airport security and comfort onboard).

The preference generally would also depend on the entire outfit or what both workplace and common sense dictates.

I see no need to prefer one over the other without context.

Laces would be more formal than loafers and oxfords more formal than derbies, amongst lace ups.

In singapore context, anything black, leather looking and non-sports sole seem to be acceptable for workwear, based on what i can see on the streets, if u need a minimum standard.

Were u the one who bought an edetal that had to MTO your size but no upcharge? If it was you, thought from that experience would have deduced they would not likely carry RTW of your size, unless sample sale then got chance of uncollected MTO of your size.

size 37 need to custom order.. no need additional charge, but be prepared to wait for some time..

Ya, the guy told me too, which why I was very reluctant and eventually didn't want to place an order. That time I tried a sample oxford, thats why dare to order Nicol in 37. But he also got say loafer is quite different, so he don't dare to suggest also...

Not about working shoe... I have a.casual leathet shoe with a smooth sole... It is.very.slippery on wet tiles. It is.common to be like this or is it just the design of the.sole which is smooth no grip no nothing.

It is normal. Leather sole does not have good grip like rubber on wet tiles.
You can get topy or vibram rubber pasted over your leather soles to get better grip

Hi guys, i have a problem with finding a suitable shoe.

The problem i have is for me, i need US size 12. And i have a very wide foot(fat man has fat feet). I tried going through taka and the size 12 shoes available are very limited and all have a narrow sharp toe which my wide feet will hurt. Any one have this problem too? If so, where did you get your shoes? My budget i would say is around $300 for a pair. Looking for office wear and another pair that can match a tuxedo.

match tuxedo - you need black oxfords.. but if your feet is wide, bluchers may be more appropriate.

office wear - u tried clarkes?

Currently what dress shoes do u wear or is this going to be the 1st time u getting dress shoes?
