Judging by the prices for G&G at Kevin Seah, I'm thinking at least $100-$200 markup for brands at Leatherfoot.

Been trying to find someone who would still do these for the past one year and found out last week that the cobbler in International Plaza has it for just $5 a pair.

Is it a piece of metal on the tip? Btw, if the tip has been worn out, is it too late to do this liao???

Leatherfoot charges usd (i think, rather than cad?) 550 for carmina. If u apply current fx of 1.25 + 7% gst, that works out to about sgd730-740, which is already more than what it costs at armoury and that is assuming conservative fx n no further markups from LF to KS.

At the same time, we have a hk bro in tailor thread saying armoury have high markups...

Depends really, my right foot's tip is more worn out than my left one. Hence, you can see the plate very clearly from the side and top but you can still fix the toe plate on. I'll post a pic of that later.

Better to fix the plate after you've worn in the shoes a couple of times than to wait till your toe tips are half worn out. Would have done it earlier if I knew they were doing it...

But this is an interesting topic by my favourite poster. So yes I agree with Aisyoz, a branded shoes must be protected like a young girl's virginity.

I will not risk send my branded shoes to your local cobbler where they just anyhow whack nails into your branded shoes
using who-knows-what techniques.

I rather send back to the manufacturers for resole
