I actually bought a matching Burgundy belt from meermin to go along with my Burgundy pair. Heh
Its a pretty good price i think. 38 euros after minus vat. It didn't add extra cost to my shipping either. So i thought what the hell, might as well just get. I hardly see Burgundy belts out there

Actually I also just bought a matching belt for my dark brown oxford from Meermin. However, 85cm was a bit too long for me.

Still thinking to sell it or send for alteration...

It's extremely narrow. IIRC New Rey was designed specifically and almost exclusively for the Japanese market. Size up 1/2 for New Rey but that doesn't really guarantee that it'll fit well.

It may seem like the Japanese are more aggressive when it comes to shoe styles/last shapes, but most of my Japanese friends that I know in person prefer chunkier, more "classic" shoes, so maybe there are two extremes.

I really like those burgundy semi brogues though. I'm crossing my fingers that they'll fit
By the way, even the sewn belts can be cut. Theres a shoe / belt guy at basement of paragon beside the magazine store near the toilet (earlier in the forum this guy was also discussed when there was a lot of back and forth about Topy / Vibram) that does a pretty good job with sewn belt alterations. Not expensive, probably 10 + dollars I think?
