I had to get 3 shoes in the Ron last for Meermin before I finally nailed it. Simpson is a completely different monster though, since I have wide feet. Probably gonna have to chop a toe off.

Dude you have serious patience
It takes a hell of a long time to get stuff from them
good luck with the simpson
i find its one of the nicest looking lasts

anyone here did antiquing?
would it work better on a lighter shade of brown shoes (eg tan) with brown kiwi?

also I have a pair of suede shoes, but on some parts (eg the side where the boots are facing each other) there seems to be more wear...kinda fur-like
any idea how to remedy it?

was thinking of getting a new pair of tan/brown shoe, does anyone here avoid cemented construction?
just want to find out if they'll last before getting one

Yes, I'm aware of that but I wouldn't refer to them as aggressive. What people do with them CAN be aggressive.

Anybody have an actual pair of meermin 101198 - BLACK CALF OXFORDS? would like to see how it like looks like and feels like.

I have a pair. My first pair. Bought last month.
I actually posted pictures of those some time back. Somewhere around page 480 to 490ish i think
