活水湖 is located in one of the park just beside the Pacific ocean. The last time when I was there, they used it for a debunking competition. Quite a huge lake , slightly bigger than a Olympic pool I think. We rented bicycles and cycle around the park. Pretty nice scenery. Oh, got the national geographic frame for photo taking. Enjoy!

Going in exactly one months time. Haha sounds cool. Probably will include in the day tour. See how it goes cause driver say Mr brown avenue and sanxiantai will take abit of time on the road. Any others that die die must go in that one day 10 hours tour? Lol dont think will be back to taitung again after that. Next trip wana do hualien route

Brown avenue to san xian tai is like going from changi to tuas through mountaineous road.
Super long drive.
Nothing in between to see.
So be prepared for 1.5-2hrs on the road.

Get the minsu to do for you.
Even if 10, you also cannot fit all into a 9 seater.
Remember insurance may be an issue if something really has to happen.

Suggest to start one night in Chi Shang, cycle in Mr Brown avenue and look for the Jin Chen Wu tree. Hehe.

stay 1 night in chi shang? i settled my bookings liao omg. 2 nights in taitung town. what is there to do or see in chi shang?

Nature and padi fields, it depends on whether you like it or not. Each individual has different preferences.

Also eat the 铁路便当。

i personally like the nature beauty around taitung. The place is also more peaceful and less crowded.

Looking for minsu or apartment recommendations in Taitung (preferably quite near train station) that can accommodate a group of 8 w bicycles for a night's stay :)
