I went last Saturday evening, stopped at the 6 rocks (I assumed that is the top?) damn shagged!

Wanted to stay till night but too many people.

Please do not go 象山 wearing jean. :(

The elephant mountain is one of the item i m looking at currently. Besides climbing stairs, any other ways to go up? I have 2 elderly 70+ yo travelling with us, walking is no problem for them, but if need to climb more than 30 mins, it might be an issue .... hence, beside climbing stairs, any gentle slope that can walk up?

70s ah? Most elderly walking ok, but climbing up down the impact on knee is slightly different le.
I know some locals elder age also hike there regularly, but that's partly they used to it liao. I don't recall seeing alternate path upwards other than the stairs which really is quite steep. I believe there could be more than one entrance, but the one I took isn't advisable IMO

Yeah elephant mountain is basically stairs access only.
It roughly mid-way up Taipei 101, so my best guess is around 50 storeys high?

YangMingShan can cycle up. I did! :D

quite worth a climb for the view of 101 and cityscape if you are relatively fit.

no pt wasting energy climbing it. If u want to have a view of taipei 101 can try taking cable ride at Maokong Gondola.
