No XBMC on IOS unless Jailbreak, any other alternatives to watching US tv series?

hello, im facing stutters/jerks (low fps of 15-20+) when streaming 1080p (Epl on phoenix) on kodi. tried playing local 1080p vid n it occurs too.

using other players likr mx player or default player is fine. have tried playing around all those vid/hardware encode settings but to no avail, any pro knows how to fix?

Suggest you install maintenance tool on your kodi & play around with the cache buffer.Delete all cache & packages before your streaming.

What hardware are you using running Kodi? For Android I suggest using SPMC.
Check your video acceleration if its working. Press the letter "o" on your keyboard during playback to see.

xiaomi tv2. Hardware acceleration both checked (libstagefright & mediacodec). tried both 15.1 & 15.0 both also same..

Hardware acceleration is supported "dc:amc-h264" (mediacodec) just disable libstagefright. Your getting stutter because of dropped frames and your 2 cores are running @100%??... try to use SPMC and see if there is any difference.
One more thing what did you set for "adjust display refresh rate...."
