Not sure where to post this..but i dont quite understand looking at the xbox store on how xbox controller works

I want to use it to play games in my PC...so which 1 i shud be looking for?

seems like there is following options:

1) Xbox One Controller with Play and Charge kit (cable + batteries)
2) Xbox One Wired Controller
3) Xbox One Wireless Controller with adapter

lets say i get the option 2, does it comes with batteries? or do i still need batteries? and in future i want it to be wireless, i just buy adapter and im good to go?

if option 3, do i need to get batteries and charge kit? and if i want it to be wired, buying a cable will be enough? or its specifically for wireless..:s22::s22:

and...any place to recommend to buy this controller new and cheap? and whats the different with elite? :s22::s22::s22::s22:

Charge kit is just a battery pack to replace the AA battery. When you connect the usb it will charge up, in a way, you do not have to keep changing the AA battery.

Yes.

They provide 2 non chargeable Duracell battery only. So have to get your own, either the official Xbox controller battery or 2xAA batteries.

Battery only for wireless

thanks..i think i roughly know how it works

Wired Controller - No need battery, just connect to PC and play
Wireless Controller - Need Battery, Need Charging Pack, Need Adapter

then it seems like its more economical to get wired controller :s12:

thanks guys.

aside from the above, if going for wireless..the battery and charging can last how long?

Not sure about the current bundles but when I bought it, a basic controller package includes a controller and a micro usb cable with some batteries. The wireless adapter would have to be purchased separately.

Wireless need battery OR charging kit. if you put in the charge kit, you do not put in the battery and vice verse.

TS, Xbox one wired controller is the same as wireless. There is only one version.

Xbox one wireless controller + battery + dongle = wireless mode

Xbox one wireless controller + micro USB cable = wired mode
