just asking for the wireless charging kit if we use cable to plug and play, is it possible or still need to use that wireless dongle?

Charging kit is just a battery. If you use cable it will become wired connection while charging the charging kit.

Take note that latest controller will allow you to plug in earphones directly into controller.

Earlier version requires to add on adaptor to use earphone. You should be able to read which version on the side of the packaging.

Yah, newer ones can use 3.5mm jack from earphone directly.

Windows 10 only at the moment only, windows 7 cannot work.

so whats the best recommendation? wireless or wired?

I would say get the wired first. Then up to your preference liao if you want wireless.

i recommend u go qoo10 to search for controllers, i saw 1 logitech @ $35, use q points can cut to $25. wired with no internal battery (which is a good thing imo coz i left my ps3 controller[which i was using to game with my PC] in the drawer for like 3 months and the battery bloated...)
