XCOM EU was only USD1 (combo with other games) on humble bundle last week.

and BTA can get XCOM EW.

The beginning of the trailer is nice but they lost the plot in the middle to the end...

The XCom I know is turn based (or time based) squad strategy game coupled with base building and R&D. Best XCom I played was XCom Apocalypse back then...

The graphics, the aliens, UFOs, the weapons and R&D all so nicely gel into the game world. Plus the different political parties that could get subjugated by the Aliens and political manoeuvres you need to make to appease the different suppliers and factions.

I hope this game doesn't loose that feeling... XCom EU lost some of the flavour but still retains the plot.

i also feel the apocalypse is memorable, if they can just skinned it to HD and eye-candy, it would be a best seller.

Apocalypse really did a good job with the X-Com universe.

The alien biology and lifecycle and roles they play all links up.
Multiworm->Hyperworm->Chrysalis->Any Aliens, etc...

The Cityscape UFO battles were so epic!
No lame screen just to see UFO shooting the planes but a full city map to chase and shoot down the UFOs. Give your groups of aircraft formation and entrap the UFO escape path as they make their way to the portals.

Then there's the organization relationship thing.
Marsec hates Megapol, General Metro hates Superdynamics, etc....
First thing I do is whack Cult of Sirius!

I love if they went back for a remake of this!
10/10 would buy!

very worth replaying. jin epic at the end take avenger to mars cydonia alien base.
