This year Samsung seems like having an easy time in android space, at least in our region. No real competition.

Most will just go with Samsung considering these prices from Xiaomi. Last year Mi 11 was overpriced here and now Xiaomi 12 too.

Also, why does Xiaomi Singapore so incompetent compared to Xiaomi Malaysia? No proper pre-order website, Malaysia has it last night. We didn't have Mi 11 Ultra too, they at least had one batch. What is Xiaomi Singapore doing?

Technically Xiaomi Malaysia and Singapore are managed by the same team I believe, maybe our market for them is just an afterthought. :s13:

"The Xiaomi 12 Pro gets the best protection of them all with international warranty in over 50 markets worldwide. For example, you can buy a 12 Pro in Spain and get it serviced in Malaysia, all under warranty."

I wonder if this means i can get a China set and walk into a SG service center to have it flashed to global rom with the bootloader untouched.... =P

Hi, I'm just wondering given the global launch of Xiaomi 12 series phones and the aggregate pricing based on Xiaomi Malaysia, would anyone consider purchasing the phone directly from China (taobao etc)? What would be the difference between the global and Chinese version? Thanks for sharing!
