oh thanks. I didn't know that. I will buy china rom next time then... just carted out global version. lol.
From what i know, only those with sd chip will have EU rom. Just need to wait for the team to make. So for new models have to use cn rom temporary. No issue for usage as well.

Because there's no global set for mi 12s ultra. And now looking at mi 13 pro global set pricing. It's more cost saving to buy from taobao directly and flash yourself.
but if flash means no more warranty right? if global priced same level as s23 ultra, i get Samsung better

U save about $300, but u lose the 2year warranty and resale value.
And also the risks of flashing.. all on.. i decided just get local.. lol

Xiaomi all along no resale value.
I never use any warranty also. Phone seldom broke so easily. Common issue is drop phone screen crack, where can go outside shop change screen. Other than that seldom got issue on mobo.
Anyway to each his best. Pros and cons between china and global set.

Not that I don't like.
The pricing is an issue once export outta China. The highest specs set using china ROM is rmb 6299 which works out to be 1.2k add gst and tax etc 1.4k local selling 1.7k this kind of pricing is due to the overhead and expenses.
The same thing happens for other brands as well except for Apple products which their pricing is already at premium.

Malaysia Xiaomi 13 pro selling only at RM4599. If got international warranty, then its a cheaper deal. Anyone tried?

That's about sgd$1400

Save just $100 to go to JB and buy, the jam, the time wasted, etc etc.. might as well get it here.
The savings is not alot, if you say $200 or $300 then maybe worth.
The savings is less than 10%..

Xiaomi products all the while got no International warranty one.
