Interesting. I have heard anecdotal feedback that android auto can sometimes be iffy, maybe need to try another usb cable, or, for testing purposes, try another car, e.g. a friend or relative's car, just to narrow down the variables

You will get compatibility issues with a lot of apps even though technically you can install Google Play Store. There’s no guarantee all your apps will work.

I'm not planning to get Xiaomi 13 series phone... only spending on a $250 - $300 phone... am deciding btw Realme 10 Pro+ and some other Xiaomi phones... locally I cannot find a Realme 10 Pro+ global set... only got flashed with global rom one... I'm not tech-savvy so i dunno what are the benefits of flashing a CN rom phone with global rom... wat r the benefits ar?

Even buying local set doesn't mean local service center know how to fix it. Just go see the competency level u will know.

if u are not tech savvy, consider a model with local warranty, any issue, can go to service centre

there are no benefits of flashing a china rom phone with global rom, it is for some people who don't mind tinkering with their phones, and they get to have more choices, compared to the models sold officially locally

FYI, there is no need to flash rom, if you just want to install apps via google play. some china rom phone can work locally with google play store that is side-loaded, but sometimes there will be some limitations, and also in the past, issues of missed/delayed notifications

realme, not many models sold officially in singapore now, if u are considering, can consider travel to JB to buy, many realme models sold officially in malaysia, at least it will be global rom, and if there are any issues, still can got to service centre in malaysia

I'm actually considering btw Realme 10 Pro+ and some other Xiaomi phones... Poco F4 is really bang for ur buck but for me, I dun really fancy flat-edged/flat back-and-front phones but it seems that all the new phones are now liddat...
