The local set is probably setup with the global ROM while China is with China ROM? I see that the official stock ROMs are available from Xiaomi website, https://miuirom.org/phones/xiaomi-13-pro

I believed the China set has 1 year international warranty in SG or does not? The local set as I googled, some says its 2 years local warranty.

Other than the above, savings few hundreds to get a China set than a local one seems very tempting. Just worried if there are any other unknowns am not considering.

Googled about flashing global ROM on China set, It stated need to unlock boot loader. Is this the same as rooting the phone? If rooted, a lot of banking apps will not be able to install.

I don't think China set has international warranty... Since its only for China domestic market.

The global sets are with 2 years international warranty based on region

I am using the China set, definitely worth saving!

Nope, unlocking is not the same as rooting. I have not unlocked my unit yet since I am pretty comfortable with China ROM after I debloated all the unused stuff and use Lawnchair as my launcher, the experience is just as good as when I am using Pixel phone.

There are few ways:
1. Long press on the app and click 'i' then uninstall from there. If the uninstall failed, proceed to method 2 below. If there's only got 'disable' option, then disable the app.
2. Settings - Apps - Manage Apps - find the apps you want to uninstall
3. Adb command 'pm uninstall' if you know the packages you want to uninstall
4. 3rd party tools, e.g. universal android debloater, szaki xiaomi adb/fastboot tools (outdated) which also utilize ADB to do the job and it might or might not works

Be careful to not (blindly) remove the important system apps otherwise some features might not work or got error.

Hope this helps.

I bought this Elecjet Apollo Ultra during the kickstarter, with output of 65W and input of 100W, no issue charging the mi13u too.
Elecjet makes good stuff. Sad they not officially sold in SG. Bought the 65W charger for PPS and other protocols. small and compact.

The ZMI is 25000mah though haha

Yeah too bad they are not officially sold here. The ZMI 25000mah is quite pricey, if they have the white color I will buy it haha, but don't understand why they make the 2nd usb-c output only 45w instead of making the usb-a 100w.

The USB A can push out 100W iirc. Used with the xiaomi cable 90W for the 13U.

It's china set flash to global rom. Thier variant already telltale sign liao. Global only 12+512
Thanks for the heads up. I think it's difficult to get a local set without the extra freebies. Cheaper too if we buy from the mobile phones shops rather than Lazada or shopee.
