If you don't use it/cannot open it, just uninstall. The longer its in the phone, the higher the risk. Simple. Any essential system app cannot be uninstalled by user without root/adb.

Thank u for the reply. I have uninstalled the app immediately last night. also did a scan on my phone but no virus found. Do I still need to do a hard reset on my phone?

Just a bit concerned why the hell did this unknown app appear out of nowhere.

Best is to run thru the whole app uninstall list to make sure no unknown apps.

I think all screen protector which us thicker than factory, will affect the scanner. Hence I have yet to change.

Not really, had no issues with Glass SP with my old huawei P30pro. This one really kills the fingerprint scanner. End up always too many times and have to key in password.
I even re-registered my fingerprint with the SP on same issues.

Depends, TG with UV cure work perfectly, its those that have a adhesive patch right on the fingerprint area that work really badly or those that only adhere to the sides.

Hello bros, quick question, mi 13 ultra china set, unlocked bootloader, what will happen if i flash the global rom with option flash_all_lock, will it work? In the dev option, i can toggle oem unlocking on and off, and after i toggled it to off, i still can see the unlocked lock on the boot screen. Thanks.

i have an issue with google pay is failing due to the security issue, previously was working fine until i refreshed the phone, now no matter which eu rom (stable or latest beta) i installed, it always failed. if you know the workaround, kindly let me know. Thanks.

The google pay issue just happened last evening. From what I read, it impacted all custom rom. Only way now is to wait for xiaomi eu to see if they fixed it somehow.

Thanks for the info, yeah, i found my Poco F5 phone with Evolution X ROM also suddenly encountered the Gpay issue, can't be used for payment anymore. Bad time for custom ROM

I think there's a thread in XDA some addon which could resolve this for other custom rom. as for xiaomi.eu rom, it seems like the developer has fixed it and is currently rebuilding all the stable rom and reupload them.

CN ROM basically has no issue with all those you mentioned; the only thing missing or not working in CN ROM is Android Auto, Nearby Share, and Google Location History. If one of those features matters to you, then you might want to unlock the bootloader and flash the EU MIUI ROM.

For now, DBS seems to have some issues with certain CN ROM.

Doesn't matter what ROM, all default apps can be changed. App, Manage apps, default apps (menu)

Can suck thumb already. Xiaomi eu rom now only update fix for gpay issue for beta rom. Stable rom no longer going to support it.
Not sure why recently google keep updating gpay security many on Xiaomi eu rom all llst cannot use gpay... Including myself

Make sense since nobody know when google going to stop patching. Kinda pointless to update so many ROM and repeat on weekly basis. Shall wait for HyperOS to rollout.
