- Missed notifications, shouldn't be a problem now
- no issue with banking apps
- miui is known for ads, but can turn off
https://www.androidauthority.com/remove-ads-xiaomi-miui-1019139/- note: buying a global rom model doesn't guarantee 100% no problems, sometimes still may have software bugs
Think there's no more ad already.
But I using custom Xiaomi eu rom on mi 12s ultra so no such thing as ad pop up 😁
But seeing RWM pricing it makes me believe the price of Xiaomi is actually 良心价。
Is the distributor 没良心。

FYI, sets sold to street shops are also provided by the same distributor

this is common to all brands

smart people wait for street pricing, before deciding which side got better deal

Ads?! I thought those are because they are inbuilt in the apps instead of the phone firmware?
Ah I see, so only their apps ah, but since they have in memory apps, the pop up can come out out of nowhere iirc.

Good to know, thanks for the clarification

Question: In terms of hardware, is there a difference between the CN and SG sets? I recall that the last time I used NFC, I had to select the correct option in order to use the paywave; is this still the case now? Isn't it cheaper to buy the CN set if I'm going to flash the EU rom and don't need the warranty or freebies? Thanks.

Is the filter ring only can be used with the Xiaomi special casing? Or it can be mounted directly on the phone without the casing? Thanks
