For the price difference btw a China rom set and a local set for Ultra 14, what is the difference we need to know?

I just figured this.. but you cannot unlock the bootloader for china hyperos rom.

I don't believe they allow.

China ROM often have delayed or even no notification. Very common with with FB messenger, this is on top of locking the app, autostart, no restriction etc. Also whatsapp doesn't seems to have permission to display over other apps, making call not visible, you can only hear the notification sound but not the call receiving page.

Actually you can, but got to pay hefty sum to some Chinese/Russian to help you bypass the restriction.

Probably few more days, my 14 vanilla CN ROM just got updated.
Normal for xiaomi to update every 2-3 months, if you are the type that die die must have monthly update, probably google, apple or samsung is a better suit.

if other region can get updates, i would think xiaomi needs to update for us local SG set user too.
furthermore this is flagship.

I am thinking to change from my current 13T Pro to 14 Ultra. How's 14 Ultra for current owners?

one immediate drawback I see is lack of eSIM on 14 Ultra which I am using on 13T Pro. From recent posts I see updates are not as frequent as what a flagship should be, this same less frequent updates is evident with 13T Pro as well.
