There is a new update pushed for Xiaomi 14 Ultra today. When you install the camera grip, there is now an option to turn on/off for charging of the phone from the camera grip. Now can install the camera grip 24/7 with no worry of damaging the phone's battery by the constant charging.

your dream come true.. maybe the devs subscribe to this thread.. lol

Yeah! Haha! I used the feedback option on the phone to request for this feature and not sure whether coincidence, today's update included this feature. I received a reply though from the feedback menu. anyways, I'm happy with this new feature 🥰

After the update, they change the widget page to the App Vault page. The normal Widget page are now hidden, have to go "Apps with multiple Widgets" -> Android widgets.

Anyone knows how to turn the App Vault off?

I was also confused about the new app vault widgets menu, hopefully it can be turned off. Or someone who knows how to turn it off can share here.

I kind of found a work around.
Go to setting -> Apps -> Manage apps -> App Vault -> Clear data -> Clear all data.
Open the Widget Menu and you will see a 'welcome to widgets!' page, at the bottom you will see a tiny 'Android widget' > Click and it will go to the old widget menu page.

Apparently, clearing the app data will disable it.

If anyone found or know of a better way, please share.

My Case just arrived yesterday, not a premium quality case but will do for now. Its a cheap Transparent case with smoked edges. Looks much better than the 4 corner bumper jelly case that I got locally as a stop gap measure as well as much grippier and better protection than the bundled case in the photography kit. Have another honeycomb style case on the way and hope that would be nice too. Non mainstream phone models difficult to get a good brand quality made case.
