i dont see in their promo talking much about its macro / super macro ability .... the only spec i can see is their focus distance is 10cm but i recall vivo x200 can go in till 2-3cm ....
IMO 2-3cm more suitable for indoor shoot where u have all the extra lightning setup. u probably also need some special techniques to post process
recently bringing my kid to nature parks and pip my interest back to macro photography ...

online doesn't seems to have much comparison between the 2 model macro mode also
go ask 15U owners in "xiaomi leica photography" thread if they can help post some macro shots. best if u can describe what u usually shoot.

VIVO thread is mostly dead especially about photography, mostly talk about accessories & power consumption

I was also told too it's the best..but even when touring Kinmen..we didn't stop at the brewery...zero interest in the drink.

This bottle was a gift...special edition snake CNY. Not sure how to drink it....had to have it on rocks cuz so sweet.

This is interesting...depending on your region setting, some features may appear or disappear. For example, if you switch to US, esim disappears, but switch back to SG...esim appears again.

From my limited understanding "Pro" at 23mm cannot go close, but "Photo" even without Super Macro can go pretty close.

Otherwise 23mm can have quite abit of perspective distortion, 35mm and 50mm are naise to work with, 70mm above need to put more distance to do plate filling shots esp if bigger plates.

By default, using the wide angle camera will auto switch to digital crop of ultrawide angle camera when phone is near to subject. I think auto switch when the phone detected is less than 15cm from subject. A red macro icon will appear in the lower left corner. Press on it will disable the auto macro mode.

To disable permanently is go settings, auto adjust lens, adaptive macro.

15pro and 15ultra ultra wide camera has autofocus up to 5cm from subject.

some of the wifi assist will try to reconnect on its own

Ok will go disable the wifi assist.

Have u encountered it before ?

Earlier on the Wi-Fi icon was perpetually blue and On despite trying to turn off, even went to swipe the switch also cannot.
