Global rom latest rom still no fix for qualcomm 8 elite gpu driver crash bug when return to homescreen while playing drm video. China rom 2.0.206 already fix the bug about a month ago.

Or drm video is a china thing?

After update to this version, my Google wallet no longer can verify by biometric (fingerprint) Liao.. only use pin den can verify to make payment.

After u input Ur thumbprint on this screen, rightfully the top portion (above Ur card) "for security, you need to verify it's you before using tap to pay" will disappear but somehow it doesn't, if u choose to verify again with Ur thumbprint, it is still the same, it will only disappear if u input Ur pin.

After update to this version, my Google wallet no longer can verify by biometric (fingerprint) Liao.. only use pin den can verify to make payment.

Anybody got same issue?

After the update did you apply a new screen cover and added fingerprints?

My fingerprint verification delinked once because I had a new glass cover. Troublesome to relink

I turn on 2nd space and added a new fingerprint but I have since deleted the 2nd space and the new finger print but somehow it doesn't resolve despite me removing all the cards and re adding them into Google wallet

My concern about using this phone in priority:
1. A lot already reddit user have actually complain about this phone eye strain like symptoms upon usage.


Can I check with you if this is the case. I myself is using Xiaomi 13 now however this is considered okay for me. Although I may get migraine at times and the right side of the eye discomfort. I'm also currently on some medication to prevent the migraine. My main app of buying the smartphone -> I want to eliminate all possible cause and all possible confusion that can cause migraine.
2. How does the battery life actually compared to Xiaomi 13 -> this is actually the previous version, currently if I want to sell to second-hand retail shop right it can only cause up $138 which is the far cry from the $790 which I brought initially. The battery power has already dropped to 88% and the current warranty will actually end on the 26th of May 2025. It will be good if someone can tell me how I can fetch this on carousell.
3. What kind of accessories do you normally use for this? I am currently on a Smart devil screen protector, and camera protector, and some plastic casing I mean tending to get some heat dissipating casing later on.
4. I am also currently pairing with my xiaomi pad 7 pro which is a china variant.
5. The only thing I currently don't like about Xiaomi 13 is the battery life, and the heat build up. Also a lot of custom integration like getapps is missing and I have to point to app mall. Is there any chance I can use this to upgrade to unlock the bootloader and actually flash a custom ROM?

I am unsure about the eye strain issue, the only strain I have is some old flower but that is on me..

Xiaomi 15 has a larger batt capacity over Xiaomi 13, but depends on usage I guess.

I only use an el cheapo casing with a lanyard, and since it is mostly around the neck, the number of times it fell = 1 so far since purchase. No filters most of the time except macro filter and an ND filter if necessary.

I think unlocking bootloader is exceedingly difficult in new Xiaomi phones, you've probably read about that on reddit.

need to remove app and reinstall and setup again.

else that pesky pin will persist.

Alternatively u can use Xiaomi to manually fingerprint lock these apps.. so u need fingerprint + pin lock. but this is not really targeting the issue..
