Finally unboxed and fixed up my photography kit.

And affixed a lens cap.

and i already find the free camera kit cumbersome.... this looks like some BDSM equivalent :ROFLMAO:

Abit heavy indeed.

But shutter button is definitely more intuitive.

Will try to keep it as such over the next few days see how it goes.

I love the kit. the shutter button is good, the single press burst mode is gratifying for certain required situations.

The zoom and the ev compensation dial are a joy to use for quick adjustment.

But the kit

1) Is unable to fire in "Pro" mode.
2) The leica watermark will not automatically appear if shot taken through photography kit shutter,
2) Slow charging if fixed up, need to dismantle and charge phone if want to be faster.
3) The right thumb rest is a good ergonomics, just that it blocks abit of the estate space at lower right corner of screen
4) If they can do up a larger robust buckle for a bigger strap, I got a quick release peak design strap lying around cannot fit.

Not deal breakers.

Totally.

That said..no other company has such a factory kit. Truly game changer when it comes to blurring the lines of phone and p&s camera.

Gotta give small rice credit on this innovation.

It's like Lambo launching factory SVs with factory wings and spoilers etc..distimct but factory look out of the box....vs tackly stick ons.

I just realised the photographic kit cannot work on "super macro"

Sad. The physical shutter with burst would come really handy..

Looking to upgrade my samsung s20 fe. But abit lost on what to get as a value for money phone. I have heard xiaomi 14t series is a great value for money phone and would like to try it out but also open to any other android phones out there.
My preferences are good battery life, esim, good camera for taking family portrait photos during holidays and a decent processor. Wireless charging is a plus, but not neccesary.
My budget is anything below 1k sgd

Didn't want to pollute the Leica thread since this is about video capture quality.

I think one of the biggest challenges in smart phone video captures are concerts.

Here's some 4K60 Dolby Vision Samples from A-Lin's concert with whatever max zoom i can do without too much shakes:

How fast a xiaomi 15 ultra charge from 0-100%? 1 hour 6 mins.
-Xiaomi 120W charger(Do note that xiaomi 15 Ultra tops out at 90W wired)
-Xiaomi A to C cable
-Full speed charging:On
-Boost charge:On
-Battery protection (max charge:80%):Off
-Smart Charge:Off

I can confirm that Cuktech 15 140W GaN charger and thier C to C cable have 90W and boost charge support too, afterall they are xiaomi's subsidiary.

Time to turn back on my battery protection hahaha.
