Screwed on a Marumi DHG close up filter ( +3 dioptre only but fairly thick and heavy already )

*Achromatic filters correct for chromatic aberration (color fringing) at two wavelengths, while apochromatic lenses provide better correction for three wavelengths, resulting in sharper, more brilliant images.

I am not aware of Apochromatic macro filters but Achromatic filters would already be a huge IQ step up from non corrected cheap macro filters.

Seems to have some useful details.

Unfortunately AF is extremely unreliable at 23mm. Initially thought could have some macro tricks with a 1 inch sensor, looks like not doable in this instance.

yup only China. no plans for Global release. Now Xiaomi only launches non-Pro and Ultra models globally.

Can leh. I’ve been shooting in Pro mode all along in Ultra Raw and Raw with the kit.

what’s the issue you are facing?

Did u fix the kit?

Went down Svc center earlier.

With the Photographic kit the single shot works for Pro mode and Super Macro.

But Burst shooting only works for photo mode minus Super Macro.

The CSO is not sure if kit or phone issue, the technician not around. They dun have spare to test, so they will try to get a new set over next 2-3 weeks and then I go swap and check.

Pleasant place, not crowded, staffs friendly.

Nah, its just a flip cover, no way to install filters or mount anything

They also offered a Magsafe variant of my cover, should have gotten that instead.
