I've install 光芒体育 and the football stream for 光芒体育 is quite pixelated and i find it worse than SD. Do I need to do any setting on the app itself? Am using a 4k tv btw and have set the mibox video resolution to 3840X2160.

as long ur mibox is in the same network as ur dlna server, should not be a problem connecting. but the performance during streaming will depends on ur wifi liao.

Do you know if it will work out of the box or do I need to download other software? I can't read or understand Chinese hence I'm a little worried I will end up with a device I can't use.

I am assuming tv box performance will be better than my pioneer blu ray player which streams over wifi. It's not the wifi quality but rather some of my larger 1080p content stutters and skips frames.

Err usually the resolution will revert to previous unless you accept the change. I'm guessing you accidentally accepted the change as well?

You can try entering recovery mode by switching off the mi box and back on again while pressing down home & option button.

I find that 光芒体育 doesnt work well on TV. Soccer matches appear to have ghosting effect and frame drops when the action becomes intense. I am not sure but it may be due to my TV? But I dont have any issues with other movies or shows. I tend to watch sports using other live tv apps or xbmc as they are smooth.
