i think they go by region, i just grabbed the china/hk package (is together as one package)

total got about 370 channels.

yes got cartoon network, animax, hob, fox, fox sports etc. some of them in chinese though. only $4usd a month, why not.

I just got my xiaomi tv today. connected it to my wifi, tried both 2.4GHz and 5GHz band but the given apps mostly seems to be lagging. They will keep pause and load. Dont think it's my wifi issue coz my laptop can stream smoothly from same location.

will this cloudtv also lag? I see the youtube video demo and it say it loads fast and quite smooth.
are you connecting your xiaomi using wifi as well and is your cloudtv smooth?

thanks.

Ok guys,

I am trying to post what I tried out with xiaomi box v2. I bought the box from HK. Came back, cannot see anything from HK drama. Only china shows are available.

Tried to middle with the box and after reading so many forums, it seems the only way to unlock the full potential is to sign up vpn.

Ok, I tried a method about rooting the box and discovered I managed to get youku to work.that means streaming all shows, including tvb dramas. Stream is smooth. Maybe lag 1 or 2 times during a show.other then that, no problems. Everything in youku can stream.

I will pack all the necessary files and instructions on how to meddle with the system files.

Please do not try it if you are not comfortable with Android. I will not be responsible if you brick the device. If after reading the instructions, you still not sure what to dot, then don't do it.

This is going to be strictly for people who want to mess with their network settings. I don't take credit for this. I just mix and match from solutions people provided and after trial and error, it worked for me. Same medicine, different people. Different results. If don't work, don't come back here.to kpkb.

I am trying to organise the whole process and upload all the necessary files.

I purchased it too but the paid channels doesnt seem to load. Its always at 0kb/s

Also tried changing the decoder options as suggested but doesnt solve the issue. Using MR, any idea?

[Edit]: Updated the app and now works.

Looking forward to it.

Bought mibox2 from qoo10 without jailbreak and now managed to install togic app. It's the mother of all China streaming app, it aggregates contents from Sohu, LeTv, Youku, PPS etc, etc. But I can't watch from some sites like Youku and I guess it's due to geolocation blocking. Wondering how to do VPN on it since I can't read Chinese. Hope some kind soul would share.
