Is there a way to reboot the Xiaomi without unpluging the power cord and plug it in again?

I just bought a Xiaomi Box. There is a USB port. May I know if I connect the external hard drive to the USB port
1) will this improve the quality of the streaming?
2) or can I just download the streaming into the HDD and watch it at later stage?

just got my box and installed cloud tv and try out one month paid china/hk channels first, got a lot of channels (i think 300+)

just watched f1 (english). too bad no bpl now, cannot try. wait for next season start. anyway, a lot of channels are similar to starhub basic tier.

the subscription is by channels package?
other than the china/hk channels, are you able to watch cartoon network, disney, hbo and fox channels?
if can, i might consider stopping my starhub :s13:

i think they go by region, i just grabbed the china/hk package (is together as one package)

total got about 370 channels.

yes got cartoon network, animax, hob, fox, fox sports etc. some of them in chinese though. only $4usd a month, why not.

My 2c as a previous xiaomi box user. You need a otg cable to connect your hdd for viewing content with it. However, it does not help in anyway with network streaming..

dude.. i just got it on impulse on sat, delivered to me on sunday, wanna get from me @ 75 ? inclusive of the otg cable. paid 107 for the jailbreak n english menu already.

reason for selling .. think gonna get a blackbox to watch worldcup instead.. hahaa...
